I work with LifeWays North America as a guest presenter in the Rocky Mountain LifeWays training, and as editor of their quarterly newsletter.
My views on working with young children are largely inspired by my LifeWays Early Childhood and Human Development training. LifeWays changed the way I viewed many of the ‘mundane’ tasks that caring for young children entails, and gave me a framework through which to view the growing child.
What Is LifeWays?
LifeWays practices are inspired by the works of Rudolf Steiner and the experience of Waldorf education and are supported by contemporary early childhood research as well as common sense and the wisdom of many generations of parents.

What is the LifeWays Training?
The LifeWays Early Childhood and Human Development Training is a one-year, part-time training that includes over 200 hours of onsite instruction, with independent study and personal mentoring between sessions. For more information go to their Training Programs Overview page. My LifeWays training changed my life, and I cannot recommend it highly enough, for both care professionals and parents. Workshops are also offered for those who can’t commit to the entire training.
